In summer, as long as succulent plants survive, it is the greatest victory, but many flower lovers are always obsessed with such problems as succulent plants becoming beautiful, growing only, watering and so on. In fact, raising succulent plants in summer is the biggest victory as long as flower friends don't fall into these three "pits".

1. Grow a "pit"

General succulent overgrowth is due to lack of light, summer because the sun is too strong, succulent need sunshade, the light will be insufficient. But this is not the whole reason for succulent people to grow. If the basin soil is too wet and fertilizes too much, it will also cause the stems and leaves to grow too much.

Therefore, flower friends should avoid watering and fertilizing too much when maintaining succulent plants in summer. If it has only grown, move to a well-ventilated and sunny place to continue maintenance. The overgrowth will stop after a period of time, and with the irrigation of liquid fertilizer, lateral buds may grow between the previously overgrown stems and leaves, which will gradually give it a more beautiful shape.

If it grows too much, the flower friends feel that the plant is ugly, and in autumn, they can also take the way of beheading and replant it.

2. Sunburn "pit"

In summer, if you accidentally sunburn the succulent leaf, there is no better way to recover it except to move it to a shady place. Sunburned leaves will leave marks, can only wait for new leaves to grow, gradually eliminate the old leaves. If the young leaves of the growing point are sunburned, many heads will be born from there.

The above is not serious sunburn, if the sun is too serious will directly make the leaves sunburn water, at this time to remove these leaves, and put in a ventilated, cool place. Everyone must remember not to water after sunburn.

3. Dormant "pit"

First of all, you need to understand that the state of succulent plant indicates that it is dormant. The succulent plants in the shallow dormant state generally grow slowly and the leaves are dull in color; in the deeply dormant plants, the leaves are wrapped up, and some show that the bottom leaves gradually wither.

For the dormant succulent plants in summer, flower friends can put it in a cool corner and maintain it in a scattered light environment with less water and a long watering interval. Avoid flooding, but water more occasionally when the weather is cool. Scatter light, lack of water and ventilation. Remember these three key points to take good care of dormant succulent plants.
