Study on the breeding technique of Rhizome in Bashan

1 materials and methods

1.1 Overview of the experimental site

The experimental site is located in Huaping Village, Zengjia Town, Zhenping County, with an altitude of 1300m, latitude 32 °06-14.201 "north, longitude 109 °24-41.310" east, annual average temperature 15.1 ℃, frost-free period 233d, average precipitation about 1000 mm, soil humus, pH 6.5, uniform fertility and 83% forest coverage. There are many kinds of traditional Chinese medicine in the area, which is known as "Bashan Medicine Township", which is suitable for the cultivation of Bashan Chonglou.

1.2 Test materials

The rhizome of Zhonglou in Bashan was collected from the wild varieties above 1 500 m above sea level in Huaping Village, Zengjia Town.

1.3 Test methods

1.3.1 planting and management methods. Since December 2013, Bashan Zhonglou rhizomes of uniform size were randomly selected for planting, 3 times repeated, each repeated 200 rhizomes [8]. The distance between rows and plants is 20 cm × 20 cm, and special personnel loosen the soil and weed regularly. Seven shading methods were designed during the growing period: the shading rate of the shading net was 0%, 25%, 50% and 75% respectively, and the canopy density of undergrowth was 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 respectively.

1.3.2 Index calculation method. Using DPSv 7.0software, the test data were compared with Duncan's new complex difference method. The calculation formula of the index is as follows:

Survival rate (%) = (200 rhizomes after 3 years / 200 before planting) × 100 [8]

The weight gain multiple of rhizome after planting for 3 years (times) = the weight of total rhizome after 3 years / the weight of total rhizome before planting [8].

2 results and analysis

2.1 Survival rate of heavy buildings in Bashan after planting with different shading methods for 3 years

Table 1 shows that there is a big gap in the survival rate of Bashan heavy building under different shading methods after planting for 3 years. When 0% 50% shading net is selected for shading, the survival rate increases significantly with the increase of shading rate, and when it exceeds 50%, the survival rate no longer increases. When planting under the forest, with the increase of canopy density, the survival rate increased at first and then tended to balance. There is a significant difference between the shading net 0% and other treatment groups (P < 0.05). If the shading is too strong, the underground rhizome is easy to rot or die of disease, and if the shading is too low, the aboveground part is easy to dry up and die. From the survival index, the shading effect of 50% shading net and 0.4 canopy density under the forest was better, and the difference was not significant (P > 0.05). However, considering the actual cost, the shading method of 0.4 canopy density under the forest is suitable for planting and popularization.

Table 1 comparison of survival rate of heavy buildings in Bashan after planting with different shading methods for 3 years

Note: different letters indicate significant differences after the same column of data (P < 0.05). Same as below.

2.2 Rhizome weight gain after planting with different shading methods for 3 years in Bashan

As can be seen from Table 2, the multiple comparison of the rhizome weight gain of Bashanzhonglou after planting in different shading methods for 3 years showed that the shading method of 0.4 under the forest had the fastest growth rate, and the weight gain was 2.83 times, which was significantly different from that of other experimental groups (P < 0.05). Because the soil humus is easy to decompose and fertile, the photosynthesis of heavy building is not affected, and the weight gain effect is obvious. The effect of 0% weight gain of sunshade net was the worst, only 1.47 times, which was significantly different from that of other groups (P
