If you want to make plants grow in accordance with your ideas, you must use the means of banding to guide them. This modeling method is the most basic and the most commonly used. Friends should know it, but do you really know it? I don't think so. Wire is the most commonly used in Panza, followed by brown wire. In Yangpai bonsai production, the older generation of bonsai masters will use brown silk banza, its advantage is that it does not conduct heat, does not hurt the bark, and easy to remove, but brown silk panza production techniques are delicate, not a year or two time, it is difficult to learn, and the production time is not as fast as wire, now the fast-paced life, time is money, basically choose wire production.

Metal wire has iron wire, copper wire, aluminum wire, the most commonly used is aluminum wire, according to the thickness of the branch, to select the appropriate thickness of metal wire, in principle is not to rebound when bending. The starting point should be fixed first, which is generally fixed on the branch that intersects the branch, so that it will not rotate when winding the wire; after fixing the starting point, make the wire and the branch at an angle of 45 °, winding slowly close to the branch, and pay attention to the winding direction. if you want to bend the branch to the right, the wire is wound clockwise and bent to the left, then wind counterclockwise. The order of Panza should be the trunk first and then the branches, from the bottom to the top.

When a hardened branch needs to be bent, it is necessary to break it from the middle of the trunk with a broken rod, then wrap it around the wound with coarse cloth strips and do the bending treatment. For Panza, there are several points to pay attention to. First of all, Panza should be carried out when the basin soil is dry. This reason is obvious, and there is no need to explain. The second is not long after the pot or the growth is not exuberant, there are many people who have just entered the industry, watching the stump hand itch, no matter three, seven or twenty-one, it is a meal, and when it is done, it is sent out. Second, the pruning of bonsai, most trees can be carried out all the year round. When pruning the trees, you should observe carefully and cut off the excess branches according to the modeling needs. According to the standard for pruning branches, the following branches should be cut off:

1 opposite branches: at the same height of the trunk, the left and right symmetrical branches should be cut off.

Parallel branches: two parallel branches that extend in the same direction, one should be cut off.

3 Y-shaped branches: also known as slingshot forks, the two branches on the trunk must be cut off.

Bow and arrow: a branch that is concave in the trunk, and such branches must also be cut off. In addition, there are vertical vertical branches, cross branches and so on, which should be avoided in bonsai production.

Another pruning method is the method of storing branches and truncation of the Lingnan School, which means that the trees grow to a certain thickness, cut off the trunk, retain only a small part of the trunk, and leave branches at the cutting mouth for culture. when the retained branches grow to the required thickness, continue to cut forcefully, and at the same time leave branches in the appropriate parts of the trunk, so that the stored branches are truncated year after year, replacing the trunk with branches, and slowly grow into big tree bonsai with thick and thin, vigorous and simple.
