From June to June, the temperature rose further. Special care should be taken for some dormant or semi-dormant flowers and most bonsai in summer, so as not to cause rotten roots due to Rain Water, or plant growth due to lack of light, disturbing the shape or affecting the normal flowering and fruiting of ornamental plants. June is the season with the largest number of Rain Water of the year, with long periods of continuous rainfall.

Watering

Watering potted flowers in June should pay attention to the following aspects

1) watering time: 10:00 or 5pm is better. Normally, you can water once a day.

2) watering temperature: the water used for irrigation should be kept basically consistent with the basin soil temperature. if the water temperature is too different from the soil temperature, it will stimulate the roots and leaves of potted flowers and affect their growth.

3) combination of watering and spraying: when there is no rain for several days, in addition to watering the basin, it is also necessary to spray water around the leaves and potted flowers in order to improve the humidity of the local space.

If there is continuous rainfall, you should check the potted flowers comprehensively after the rain stops and find that there is stagnant water in the pot. pour it away as soon as possible, and loosen the soil after the pots are dry, so as not to cause rotten roots.

Fertilizer application

The main results are as follows: 1) for the species that are growing vigorously, such as tortoise back bamboo, hanging orchid, synthetic taro, bamboo carp, kidney fern, etc., the thin cake fertilizer that can be retted thoroughly can be applied every half a month, and the species that are blooming should also be applied with appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

2) fertilization must be stopped for those flower species that are dormant or semi-dormant, especially those fleshy flower species, such as jade leaf, crab claw orchid, Sedum, and so on.

Pruning

1) species with exuberant growth, such as Finch Plum, Luohansong, etc., the branches that affect the shape should be pruned or shrunk as soon as possible, so that the plant can maintain a clear hierarchy and good shape.

2) for flowers such as Jasmine, Magnolia, Rose, etc., the abortive stems of the remnants should be removed in time, and the branches that have flowered should be shrunk properly to promote the lower side branches or flower buds to bloom again.

Shade

1) the flowers and trees that like shade or semi-shade must be moved to the shade shed in June to prevent the plants from being damaged by the hot sun.

2) the flower species that like light must be given sufficient light, such as pomegranate, wisteria, five-needle pine, bamboo and cypress, and so on.

Pest control

1) plants vulnerable to dry longicorn beetles, such as cypress, cypress, elm, papaya, pyracantha, Luohansong, begonia, etc., should be prevented and controlled by poison swabs in time.

2) plants prone to powdery mildew and brown spot in the rainy season: rose, etc., should be sprayed with Bordeaux solution as soon as possible.

3) plants vulnerable to aphids, such as Magnolia, plum blossom, wax plum, etc., should be sprayed with appropriate pesticides as soon as possible.

4) the plants whose leaves are easy to be infected with anthracnose: orchids should be sprayed with carbendazim and other fungicides as soon as possible.
