Gardenia blossoms luxuriantly, white flowers, sending out bursts of fragrance, just now is the flowering period of gardenia, but many flower friends baby is waiting left and right is not blooming, there is originally a few buds, but later fell, really want to nod "cool" to give themselves, then the following to introduce why gardenia bud and not blossom of the main reasons and solutions.

Watering

Gardenia peanuts like wet environment, if you pour too much water to it, there will be stagnant water in the soil, so the leaves will grow crazily, then there will be a lack of nutrients to blossom and directly make the buds fall. Secondly, if the plants are not watered for a long time, the soil will be too dry, thus affecting the growth of flower buds. Therefore, when watering gardenia, it is best to see dry and wet, now gardenia watering, it is best in the morning or evening, and can spray some water to the leaves, but can not be sprayed on the bud, otherwise it is easy to make the bud rot.

Fertilizer application

If the gardenia has not yet grown flower buds, it means that there is a lack of fertilizer. Be sure to apply some potassium and phosphate fertilizer to the plants before flowering, or their own fermented rice panning water. If the flower bud has already grown, do not fertilize the gardenia, otherwise it is easy to fertilize too much and make the bud fall. If the gardenia leaves are yellow, you can use vinegar and water at 1:10 to give the gardenia, which can not only supplement nutrients, but also make the leaves shiny.

Pruning

If the branches and leaves of gardenia are luxuriant, the nutrients of gardenia will be consumed too much, and it is not conducive to better photosynthesis of gardenia, so that gardenia does not bloom. Therefore, when cultivating gardenia, some diseased branches and overgrown branches can be trimmed off, and then the residual flowers left after flowering should also be removed in time, so that there can be sufficient nutrients to blossom.
