This flower blooms in summer

Triangulated plum is a woody vine flower. The flowers are brightly colored, large and beautiful, with brick red, purple, lilac, milky white, orange and other colors, because the bracts are very similar to flowers, hence the name "triangular plum". Throughout the year, as long as it blossoms, colorful "flowers" grow all over the branches, even in summer, it is not affected by the heat at all.

Triangular plum prefers sunny, warm and humid environment. It is more resistant to heat and can still blossom when the temperature reaches 35 ℃. It is a neutral plant that is not afraid of heat at all. However, the triangular plum is not cold-resistant and can only survive the winter in the pot room in the area north of the Yangtze River. It likes fertile, moisture-rich soil, resistant to pruning and not resistant to shade.

From May to September, in summer, the basin soil is watered thoroughly when it is dry, and it needs to be watered every day in summer. Watering is controlled in autumn and watered once every 3 days when the soil is dry in winter. Triangular plum can withstand a low temperature of 7 ℃. The florescence is properly dry and does not apply fertilizer.

For the maintenance of triangulated plum, the basin should be changed before sprouting in spring. During the prosperous growth period, it should be fully watered, and the amount of water should be reduced appropriately after flowering. When moving into the room in early October, watering and room temperature should be controlled so that the buds do not germinate. During the maintenance of outdoor field in May, it is necessary to apply fertilizer once a month, increase the application of phosphorus fertilizer at flowering stage, and avoid excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer in the growing period so as not to lead to overgrowth.

Pruning and pruning after flowering, adjust the tree potential, cut off the withered branches, dense branches, diseased and weak branches and shoots, promote the growth of more strong new branches, and ensure flowering and prosperity. It can be cut and updated once in about 5 years. If the plants are fully dormant by controlling watering in winter, the flowers will blossom in spring and summer next year.
