As a kind of precious flower, orchid is liked by many flower friends. Not only because of its unique plant type, but also because it is a kind of flower, leaf and plant with high appreciation value. However, when it comes to raising orchids, we often can not find a unified conservation method. However, there are four common ways to raise orchids.

1. Planting essentials

Orchids originated in the south of the Yangtze River Basin and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and other places, wild in the valley sparse forest zone, like warm and humid. Potted plants are planted all over North China and enter the house in winter to survive the winter. Orchids prefer fertile, well-drained slightly acidic soil, and pH5.5~6.7 is more suitable.

Pot soil is best to take rotten leaf soil under mountain forest, or it can be mixed with rotten leaf soil and sandy loam soil, or 5 parts of rotten leaf soil, 3 parts of compost soil and 2 parts of coarse sand. When planting, you should first put coarse gravel or broken pieces into the basin to enhance drainage. The roots should be straightened and the soil should be filled. The suitable depth is that the top of the false bulb is flush with the soil surface. In order to look beautiful and prevent Rain Water from scouring the basin soil, the basin can be covered with green cloud grass or white macadam. After planting, fully water it, place it in a cool place, and move it to the breeding place after 1-2 weeks.

2. Watering essentials

Orchids like to be moist and slightly resistant to drought. The dry weather in spring and early summer in the north should pay attention to watering and keep the basin soil slightly moist. Keep the soil moderately moist in summer and autumn. It is advisable to gradually reduce watering in late autumn. If you don't dry or water in winter. High air humidity is beneficial to the growth of orchids. Therefore, in the early dry, hot weather should be sprayed around the flowerpot to increase air humidity. Orchids have small leaf area and fleshy roots, so they should not be watered too much.

3. Essentials of fertilization

Orchids don't like to be fat. No fertilizer can be applied in the first year after new planting or changing pots. However, it is still necessary to replenish the fertilizer after the second year, generally applying orchid special organic liquid fertilizer once every half month from May to September, which should be light rather than thick, and generally dilute 500 times to irrigate the root.

4. Shade should be taken.

The shade shed for the conservation of orchids should be set in a place surrounded by trees and well ventilated. The shade can be opened every morning and evening to make the orchids see the light and accept the dew. If it is too shady, it will grow too much and blossom badly.
