First of all, in the rainy weather for days, two environmental conditions have changed: one is the lack of sunshine, and the other is the increase of humidity. Under such conditions, the watering time is bound to be a little longer, because the water dries slowly, and the amount of water also needs to be reduced a little, because there is air humidity to replenish water.
As for how long the watering should be, and how much water should be reduced? It depends on our environmental conditions.
The intensity of light and air humidity determine the amount of soil evaporation. If the light is sufficient and the humidity is not high, we should not blindly cut off the water of the meat because it is raining outside, otherwise the meat will die too unjustly.
In short, no matter how much rain outside, as long as the meat soil (a few centimeters of soil) can become dry in such weather, you should boldly water the meat, but the amount of water must be less than normal weather.
After the amount of water becomes less, if the previous method is still used to water, there will be a situation that the water is impermeable and half of the water is watered.
How to avoid watering half a section of water?
One way is to turn half of the water into half a basin of water. That is to say, if we want to reduce the amount of water and still water it thoroughly, then only half a circle, or 1/3 circle, will be fine. The water will seep down in the half of the flowerpot, and of course it will slowly infiltrate the other half of the flowerpot through capillarity. This ensures that the soil in at least half of the flowerpots remains quite breathable after being permeated.
PS: if the flowerpot is small, you can water it at only one corner of the pot and water it thoroughly.
