June is a good time for grass to grow and warblers to fly, and the climate is very suitable for the growth of most bonsai plants, and it is also a key period for the cultivation of bonsai trees in a year.

First, for positive plants, they should continue to be maintained in places with sufficient light and air circulation, and for shade-loving plants, according to the intensity of sunshine and air temperature, shade or transplant in a cool and ventilated place at noon to prevent burns due to exposure.

Second, with the rise of temperature, bonsai plants need more and more water, pay attention to timely increase watering frequency, insist on watering 1-2 times in the morning and evening, and spray more water to keep bonsai and its surroundings moisturizing if you like the humid environment. Watering insists on not drying, watering thoroughly, not half of the water, it is best to soak the basin to absorb water. Pay attention to avoiding rain and drainage in the rainy season or continuous rainy weather to prevent the destruction and trampling of branches and leaves and basin soil by high winds and torrential rains.

Third, for flower and fruit bonsai, thin cake fertilizer and mixed liquid fertilizer of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer are applied every half a month in June, and thin fertilizer is applied frequently. However, during the Meiyu period, if the basin soil is moist for a long time, stop fertilizing. Fertilization combined with loosening soil, weeding, fertilization can be immediately watered.

Fourth, for the vigorous growth of new shoots can repeatedly pick the heart, timely sprouting, anti-sprouting to save nutrition. Branches with unreasonable growth orientation and direction can be pulled, taken or clambered. If the branches are too dense, too prosperous, too weak and too messy, they can be thinned appropriately to facilitate modeling, cultivation, ventilation and light transmission.

Fifth, for the bonsai of fruit trees blooming in June, artificial pollination and 50ppm gibberellin should be sprayed in full bloom in time to improve the fruit setting rate.

Sixth, pay attention to observe the occurrence of diseases and insect pests, if found timely prevention and control.
