Lavender is beautiful, elegant and romantic. Many flower friends like it. Recently, many flower friends are asking a question: can lavender be cut? In fact, it is possible, lavender cutting is generally in the spring and autumn two seasons, in fact, summer can also, but the spring and autumn season is more suitable.

1. Branch selection

Choose a better branch, here you need to choose the current year's semi-lignified branch is better, and then cut into 8-10 cm segments, the bottom is 45 °oblique shear. The upper part of the section retains 6-8 leaves, and the lower leaves can be cut off. If you already have a pot of lavender, you can directly hit the head, and then use the cut-off head cuttings, the survival rate is very high.

2. Soil preparation

The soil used in cutting is not complex, perlite or coarse sand can be used, of course, it is best not to use garden soil, air permeability and water permeability is not good, will greatly reduce the survival rate.

3. Cuttage

Insert a small piece of lavender into the soil, the depth is about 1 stroke 3 of the length, and leave 3-4 pairs of leaves on it. In order to increase the survival rate of cutting, pour water after cutting, then cover with a layer of film or plastic bag, and then put it in a cool place with astigmatism, ventilating every 3-5 days. Take root in about two weeks.

In fact, the cutting of lavender is very simple, only need to prepare healthy branches and breathable sandy soil for daily care, and the survival rate of lavender cutting is very high, can reach about 70%, do not worry at all, but lavender clusters will be more aesthetic, so we must cut more when cutting.
