As we all know, the succulent plants planted in the greenhouse grow fast and big. generally speaking, a small seedling grows into a seedling in 2 months and can come out of the greenhouse. Have you ever wondered what kind of soil is used for succulent plants in the greenhouse to grow so well? Generally speaking, this is a "little secret" that the owner of the shed will not easily tell you.

A succulent shed owner who raised seven greenhouses said that there are really a lot of succulent soil nowadays, and those who do not specifically pursue the extreme state of plants are actually similar.

Like garden soil, we use a lot in the greenhouse because the cost is low and it is easy to draw materials. But if the family is growing succulent, it is best not to use garden soil, it is easy not to say, if there is no good prevention, it is more likely to cause insect pests. Unlike the succulent plants in the greenhouse, they are regularly sprayed with fungicides and insecticides in large areas, and the preventive measures are relatively in place, so the succulent plants bought from the greenhouse had better be turned over again.

Many meat lovers think that volcanic rocks and perlite are relatively cheap, so they buy a lot of them as soon as they are bought, but every time they are watered for succulent plants, they find that these particles are really easy to "float" and cannot hold down the soil, and the plants are also easy to tilt. Maifan stone is different, although it is a little expensive, but it has a certain weight, not only can be used to mix soil, at the bottom, and its smooth edges are more suitable for paving.

Peat soil can be said to be a kind of soil with good water retention effect in succulent soil. as for how much it is used for succulent plants, it depends on the local climate and air humidity, and the ratio is generally between 10% and 30%.

Some meat friends asked me if there was any medium that could replace peat soil, and there was indeed coconut bran, which is cheaper than peat soil, and its water retention and permeability are also very good, but I have to run away the coconut bricks every time I use it. It's a little bit of trouble.

Usually in a succulent greenhouse like ours, there will be all kinds of granular soil, peat soil, flowerpots, etc., and there will be many meat lovers who want to save trouble, so they will choose a flowerpot in the greenhouse and let us put it in a good pot and take it away. In fact, the price is a little expensive in this way, it is more real to take it home and put it on the basin. The particles are breathable and can be replaced by cinder and coarse sand. It is not necessary to buy good granular soil.
