These annual semi-lignified branches are trimmed into small segments with two bud spots, that is, two pairs of leaves.

By trimming the bottom of the branch into an oblique mouth and increasing the contact area with the soil, the rooting rate will be higher.

Leave one leaf or two and a half leaves for photosynthesis. If there are too many leaves, the nutrition will not be enough to support its growth.

The substrate of cutting can be cut with river sand, vermiculite or nutritious soil.

After inserting the branches into the substrate, cover the flowerpot with a convenient bag to moisturize and reduce the transpiration of leaves. It is a trick to cut a few holes in the bag for photosynthesis. Cutting other flowers can also do the same.

Then put it in a place where the light is scattered. Every four or five days, open the convenience bag for ventilation. In about a month or so, jasmine can take root.

Jasmine has a characteristic, that is, cuttings will grow young leaves before they take root, so let's not rush to take them out and transplant them. It will take about two months for the roots to grow and transplant.

Transplanting soil to use loose and breathable slightly acidic soil, you can use rotten leaf soil, large particles of river sand, garden soil, mixed with 10% pine needles, of course, you can also use local materials, as long as loose, breathable and fertile.

Jasmine is more fond of fertilizer, put some bottom fertilizer under the transplanting soil, then put 1/3 of the soil in the flowerpot, put the rooting seedlings in it, fill the soil gently, do not press it with your hands, prevent breaking the root system, after filling the soil, pour water again, closely combine the root system with the soil, put it in a place of astigmatism and maintain it for a week or so, when there are new leaves growing obviously, it shows that the transplanting is successful.
