Rose this common and so pleasing to the eye of the potted plant, a wide variety, colorful, but also with its own strong aroma, it is difficult not to love people. As the saying goes, "behind every successful man, there is an unknown woman." behind every good flower, there is an unknown hero. Good flowers match good soil, and every bright rose needs the nourishment of good soil.

Rose likes sunshine and moisture, and avoids stagnant water, which is suitable for slightly acidic soil with high organic matter and humus. Some people may have the doubt that the soil planted there is not necessarily so fastidious, and the plants can also live well. This is different. If the soil layer of plants planted in the ground is thick, there will be a little bit of any nutrients. The roots of plants can also take root deeper. If the roots are strong, they can naturally absorb more nutrients, and their resistance will be stronger accordingly.

And the pot is only so large space, so a little soil, of course, need to be in the most limited space to plant configuration of the best conditions, in order to be conducive to plant growth. The general requirement of Chinese rose for soil is that it is nutritious, not sticky, not hard and ventilated. Of course, no soil or medium can meet so many requirements at the same time, so it is necessary to fully combine all kinds of media to achieve the best allocation of resources.

Rose soil compounding is the basic soil + coarse granular medium + other nutrients. The most common basic soil is garden soil, as well as bamboo root soil, humus soil, rotten leaf soil, etc., which is the most basic configuration; coarse granular media are perlite, honeycomb coal particles, peat, coconut shell, red jade soil, volcanic rock, Maifan stone, river sand, ceramsite and so on; other nutrients are plant ash, organic fertilizer, nutrient solution, poultry dung and so on.

The simplest way is to choose one kind of soil and other nutrients, and then choose two kinds of coarse granular medium to match a basin of more qualified soil. For example, using garden soil + perlite + peat + organic fertilizer, I suggest that the proportion of garden soil is more than half, and the proportion of garden soil can be 60%-70%. Then add a little plant ash or organic fertilizer to supplement nutrition.

The basic principle of soil collocation suggests that the proportion of basic soil is not less than half, and one or more coarse-grained media can be mixed and matched, and finally some other nutrients can be added. If the flowerpot is relatively large, you can put a layer of ceramsite at the bottom, which is more conducive to the ventilation of the root system.
