Many flower friends are very fond of crab claw orchids, but they can't be grafted, especially not with the simplest cactus. Either the grafting is not alive, or it is wilted. Now I will tell you exactly how grafting is correct.

First of all, choose a mature, thick cactus. In order for everyone to see clearly and understand better, I cut off a piece of the top of the cactus and made it clear at a glance.

What we see now is a cactus with its top cut off. There is a white line on the inside and outside of the cactus called forming skin, also called vascular tube. It is only accurate that it is grafted on this line. The outer green is the skin, and the innermost white is Sui. It is wrong to graft on the skin and Sui.

Then choose mature crab claw orchid, fairy finger branches or other grafted scions, not too old branches, the old branches have less moisture and the survival rate is low, and the tender leaves are too thin to be cut. Cut both sides of the scion, if the blade is too wide, you can slightly cut off both sides of the blade and cut it into a duck-billed shape.

Then insert the cut scion inside, in order to prevent it from slipping out, you can fix it with cactus thorns and toothpicks, not on the tendons in the center of the scion, so as not to affect growth, cannot be fixed with iron tools to avoid rust, do not need to seal wax, put in a place of flash, do not touch the water, lest the wound rot, and you can survive in 10 days.

This is a crab claw orchid grafted for a year. Make a shelf after survival and do as many layers as you like. In the future, I will teach you how to use Ye Xian to graft.
