In recent years, the disease-free research team of the Energy Center of Beijing Forestry University has made remarkable achievements in disease-free seed selection, efficient cultivation, industrial sustainable evaluation, and the development of technology research and development roadmap for co-production industry. In the past six years, this team has collected 190 superior plants and specific germplasm resources in 14 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) with disease-free seed distribution in China, and built 100000 mu experimental demonstration forest of disease-free seed raw materials in Jianning, Fujian Province. and 116mu of clones and half-sib family germplasm resources nursery, compiled the annual phenological table of disease-free children, and preliminarily clarified the mechanism of flower bud differentiation and pollination. To form the techniques of disease-free insect vector control pollination, shaping and pruning, flower and fruit regulation, formula fertilization and so on.

According to experts, for every 1 ton of disease-free fruit, the whole life cycle from raw material cultivation to processing and utilization can net carbon sequestration of 30.57 tons, and has significant economic benefits. In the future, the disease-free industry will follow the development model of "clonal plantation model + soap oil carbon forest co-production industry chain".
