Calla lotus elegant and noble, the flower language is happiness, purity, symbol of "holy law pious, always tie the knot, good luck." It is often used as a bridal bouquet in Europe and America. Colorful calla lilies, known as "colorful horses" by flower friends, are red, pink, orange, yellow and so on. Deeply loved by all flower friends, let's talk about the planting skills of colorful calla lilies.

1. Soil

Calla lilies should be planted in clay pots or purple sand pots with a diameter of 30 to 40 centimeters, and deep, fertile and loose slightly acidic sandy loam can be selected, which can be formed by the mixture of rotten leaf soil, vegetable garden soil and fine sand at 6:3:1.

2. Temperature

The suitable temperature can promote the flowering of calla lilies. If the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the florescence will be delayed, and 0 ℃ may cause death. Keep the temperature at 15-25 ℃.

3. Upper basin

Put a layer of broken plastic foam on the bottom of the basin, and add some nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer to the culture soil. Select 4-5 stout budding tubers and trim them slightly. Put 3-5 plants in each pot, put the buds up and cover with a thick layer of soil. Then water it, place it in the shade, grow new leaves and move it to the sun.

4. Watering

Calla lilies like the humid environment, should be more watering, keep the basin soil moist but not stagnant water, pay attention to do not sprinkle water on the flowers, easy to lead to leaf soft rot. Try not to water after May. After entering the dormant period, the calla lily leaves will turn yellow, and then put the calla lilies in a cool and ventilated place to maintain.

5. Fertilization

The growth of calla needs a lot of nutrient fertilizer. Before flowering, more thin fertilizer should be applied, and the compound solution of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium should be applied every 10 days.

6. Lighting

Calla lilies like light, and like long light rather than strong light, so put it in a place with plenty of light, with 4-6 hours of light every day. If there is not enough light in the flowering period, it will only bud but not blossom.

After anthesis or dormancy, dig up the tuber of the robust mother plant and divide it into 2-3 clumps according to the size of the original tuber, each with 2-3 buds, planted in a different pot, and can bloom after 3 months.

Everything is wonderful, there is a praise mall in the flower school.

There are flowers and love, a school of flowers
