Gardenia likes slightly acidic soil, which is the key to growing this flower well. The following points are mainly optimized and improved on this basis:

1. Gardenia shrubs are covered with peat moss. Peat, as an organic fertilizer, slowly provides a stable supply of acid, helping to maintain a healthy pH value. Peat gradually releases acid into the soil because it decomposes, making it a much better chemical than an ordinary acid solution. Grass shavings, leaves and branches usually do not produce acidic products when they decompose.

2. Sprinkle iron sulfate around your gardenia. This will harmlessly prevent "anemia" in plants. The lack of iron in the soil will lead to the yellowing of gardenia leaves.

3. The soil pH value of Gardenia jasminoides was tested once a month. These eosinophilic plants require a pH of 4.5 to 5.5. If the level is higher than this level, then the soil composition is too alkaline for healthy gardenia. They will not be able to process and use fertilizers. Adjust the pH value as needed to maintain the appropriate level.

4. In the whole growing season, gardenia shrubs were irrigated with a water-soluble fertilizer every two weeks for flowering plants.

Do the above four points, your gardenia will bloom all over the branches!
