Create a community healing space of friendly support and diversity
As society pays more and more attention to food safety and green diet, whether it is cooking by itself, buying safe and good food from reliable small farmers, and choosing environmentally friendly daily necessities. There are many ways to implement the concept of green sustainability in life, which deserve in-depth understanding of the public. However, with regard to the dignity and well-being of many patients, the discussion in the international community has become more and more extensive. When someone in the family is sick, it is no longer just a matter for patients, hospitals and family members. Do we have the opportunity to create a friendly, supportive and pluralistic living space by connecting with local communities and integrating social resources?.
Last Saturday, "Water Garden Organic Farmers' Market" and "one second Care-Public Marketing platform" jointly organized the "Green Food Healing School", which was co-organized by the Cancer Hope Foundation and the Breast Cancer Prevention Foundation. Patients were invited to learn about healthy eating and living with the general public. The course lasted 4 times in one month, and the quota was full in less than a week. It is obvious that cancer friends are in great need of such friendly support for community healing space, and last Saturday's first class also successfully promoted the field in which the general public and cancer friends studied together, under the guidance of the teacher, using good organic and fresh ingredients on the ground. cooking into healthy and delicious vegetable dishes, but also enjoy the fun of cooking, cultivate their own "healing power".
Through such activities of learning, eating and sharing, and through mutual understanding and sharing of life experiences, we will have the opportunity to practice a green diet and learn to cook healthy food together. Not only get to know a group of like-minded partners, through dialogue and enrich each other's life experience, it is also possible to further give play to the influence of the green food community and promote the development of a more healthy and friendly eating environment in Taiwan.
Go public to buy food, cook for yourself-as a small daily revolution
In particular, the compact pace of life of modern people often keeps people away from the kitchen, and the relationship between food additives and the mechanism of disease is an issue of concern to many people. However, the lack of understanding of ingredients, origin and environment makes us feel broken about ourselves and the world we live in. Because of alienation, the influence of each of us participating in it is often ignored, ignoring our consumption, how it affects the way farmers grow crops, how it affects mountains and rivers, and the creatures on the land. We would also like to appeal to everyone that by buying food and cooking for ourselves, we can pull back this relationship and re-understand the meaning of participation in this deeply intertwined network.
Shuihua Garden is the largest organic farmer market in Taipei. Over the past six years, it has helped more than 100 farmers and 60 agricultural processors meet citizens. Every Saturday, they gather from nearly 40 organic and friendly farms across Taiwan and travel to the Water Garden from all sides of the island. Each stall is an extension of a farm, and the farmers' bazaar represents the border between urban and rural areas-the food and breeding base, where citizens can experience an intellectual feast in the Shuihua Garden during their leisurely weekends. I personally talk with farmers about the size of the farm, and understand that what sustains agricultural production is one story after another about land, ecology, and people. In addition, with the change of seasons, matching festivals or new residents in the market, the Water Garden often hosts vegetable cuisine for small farmers, rice dumplings during the Dragon Boat Festival, and Nanyang style cuisine. In various cuisine experience courses, parents and children are invited to re-recognize the close relationship between diet and life in the process of DIY.

Green Food Yu School
Do you know that each kind of food has different characteristics, corresponding to different physique with different eating methods? As a matter of fact, the way of nourishing one's health by eating a vital diet has a history of more than a thousand years. However, in modern society, sometimes for convenience, we buy food on the market and eat it together with pesticides and chemical additives, causing a burden on our bodies and damaging our health. So, "how to go back to the natural diet, eat the right food at the right time..." To cultivate our own "healing power", for each of us, it is worth exploring and making continuous progress together.
A second public welfare platform cooperates with the Shuihua Garden Organic Farmers' Market to plan a series of courses. From May to June, a total of four classes were taught by different full-time cooking teachers and farmers. Through the integration of organic products from local farmers, a new style of diet was prepared, including self-made natural seasonings, hand-made pasta, and so on. With special festive activities, students are invited to understand the rich world and charm of organic diet, and further have a healthier, happier and fuller life.

Feng Peige, │, graduated from the Master's Program of Food Science Department of National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, worked as a lecturer in the vegetable teaching workshop, and was invited to show his cooking skills on television. Good at changing the rich natural ingredients into delicious, burden-free healthy vegetable dishes on the table!
Chen Yulan │ founded a halal beef noodle restaurant and later became a vegetable eater. she has more than 30 years of experience in making noodles with all kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Li Qinghao | the small farmer of organic farmers in the water garden. The four Seasons farming Garden is located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It is cultivated by natural farming methods, and the main crop is rice. In addition to rice, many rice products made according to ancient methods are also produced, and on the premise of not destroying the nutritional value of rice, many rice snacks are developed, hoping to slowly restore the cultural tradition of taking rice as the staple food.

This is a story about a group of farmers who changed Taiwan with friendly organic farming. The end of the organic farmers' fair at National Taiwan University is the beginning of this story. When the only organic farmer market in Taipei is closed, it means that a community connecting land, ecology, farmers, and dining tables is brewing deeper forces to gather in the Water Fog Garden of the Water Museum in the business district of National Taiwan University Mansion. A sustainable living community bazaar will be set up from 10:00 to 17:00 every Saturday to practice a friendly land and respect life.
In addition, the Water Garden also acts as an important channel for the voice of food farmers' education and environmental issues. in the past, they often co-organized food safety, food, and other food farmers' initiatives with green organizations and environmental groups to bring together the energy of the issues. For example, it has jointly launched anti-basic reform initiatives with the Housewives Union Environmental Protection Foundation over the years, joined the rice cultural circle in 2016 to jointly launch the "campaign for the Promotion of friendly Rice Culture", and in 2018 served as the organizer of the 10th National Agronomic Fair Symposium and the National seed Exchange.
