In the process of growing flowers, we often encounter the phenomenon that flowers are not long, thin or yellow leaves. The big reason is that there is no fertilization for green plants, which leads to malnutrition and poor growth of flowers.

In addition to going to the flower market to buy corresponding flower fertilizer, in fact, this kind of "residue" in life can also be used to grow flowers, that is, tea residue after making tea, it is easy to get, and it is used to grow flowers with rich nutrients, which can make the potted soil loose and breathable. Let's see how it works.

Tea residue can be used as flower fertilizer, but first of all, we have to understand that even though the tea has been brewed and most of the theophylline has been lost, it has not completely disappeared, so if tea residue is used as flower fertilizer for a long time, it may change the acidity and alkalinity of the soil.

Therefore, if you want to use tea residue as flower fertilizer, you need to ferment the tea residue after a period of composting. The methods are as follows:

1. First of all, mix the tea dregs with the soil at 1:5, turn them all, sprinkle a little water, store them in a container with a drain at the bottom, and cover them with a black plastic bag.

2. Then put it directly in the sun. If you find that the color of the compost becomes black and brown in the soil, and there are not too many impurities, the composting is basically completed, and it will take about 2 months in summer.

Note:

1. Stir frequently during fermentation, about once a week. If the fermentation temperature is too high, especially in summer, water should be added to cool down. If the compost is too dry, a little water can be given regularly to speed up the composting.

2. After composting is fermented, it is not suitable for planting plants directly because of its high fertility. generally, when flowers are put on or changed pots, it is better to mix them with other soils.
