Farinosa, a succulent plant

Farinosa, also known as first Frost, Royal Sword, Ludan Baihao and Apple Leaf Fairy Cup, is a succulent plant belonging to the genus crassulaceae. The Latin word means "with white frost".

Leaves

Oblong to ovoid, 2.5-6 cm long and 1-2.5 cm wide, apex acute, usually with a clear keel on the back, with a smaller keel next to it, usually covered with a thick layer of white frost powder. Some individuals have no powder and the leaves are glossy green. In the environment of strong sunlight and certain temperature difference, the leaf tip and outer leaves are bright red or crimson.

Flowering stems 10-35 cm long, inflorescences usually dense, apex flat, 4-8 cm in diameter, with scorpion-shaped Cymes branched, branches 1-3.5 cm, with 3-11 flowers, pedicels 1-3 (- 5) mm.

Native to the west coast of the United States, southwestern Oregon, northern California, and north-central coasts, born on the banks of steep headlands, in vertical crevices, between huge rock blocks or under shaded seaside walls.
