Potted jasmine, many flower friends will encounter jasmine blooming not much, but also easy to yellow leaves, and the flowers are not fragrant enough and so on. All these are caused by not paying attention to skills in the process of maintenance. Raise jasmine, flower friends should learn to use these two "strength" skillfully, in this way, jasmine will blossom more frequently.

1. Skillfully use watering "strength"

Pot cultivation of jasmine requires that the cultivated soil is rich in organic matter and has good properties of water retention, permeability and ventilation. The best time for flower friends to pot jasmine is before the new shoots germinate from April to May every year. After planting, pour the root water, and then put it in a slightly shaded place to slow the seedlings for 7 days and 10 days.

The key to daily management is also water. According to the characteristics of jasmine like moisture, drought tolerance, fear of stagnant water and breathability, we should master the watering time and amount of water. From June to July, the roots of jasmine have returned to normal growth, and should be watered once every 3-4 days. In the future, it can be managed according to adult jasmine, and the pot will no longer be changed in that year.

Potted jasmine should generally change the pot and soil once a year. After changing the basin, it should be watered thoroughly as on the basin, in order to close the root soil and restore growth. Before changing the basin, the jasmine should be trimmed once, the branches of last year should be cut to about 10 centimeters, and the diseased and withered branches and overdense and thin branches should be cut off.

2. Skillfully use "strength" of fertilization

Jasmine likes fertilizer, especially at flowering stage. It also likes acidic soil and can be irrigated with 1:10 alum once a week. After the first flowering, the organic nutrient solution of flowers should be used as topdressing, and the roots should be watered directly with 500 times water. Apply 800 times organic nutrient solution when flowering, which can make jasmine fragrance rich.

In the full blooming period of jasmine, organic nutrient solution should be fertilized once every 4 days, and there should be a lot of water, generally watered in the morning and fertilized in the evening, which is beneficial to the absorption of jasmine roots. Fertilizing should not be too thick, otherwise it is easy to cause rotten roots.

In order to make the plant shape of potted jasmine plump and beautiful, the residual branches should be cut off immediately after flower failure, so as to promote the germination of new branches at the base and control the height of the plant. Stop fertilizing in the first ten days of September to improve the maturity of branches, which is beneficial to overwintering. Jasmine is afraid of cold and should be moved indoors when the temperature drops to 6: 7 ℃. At the same time, attention should be paid to opening windows for ventilation so as not to cause leaves to turn yellow and fall off. When the weather is warm, you should still move outside.
