When it comes to orchids, friends are both love and afraid. What they love is the fragrance of its flowers blooming all over the room. What they are afraid of is to raise a pot of dead flowers, which hurts their self-esteem. Orchids are famous for having "technology" in order to grow flowers. In fact, as long as some "it" is buried in the pot, the new buds will sprout quickly and blossom every year!

First of all, let's analyze the cause of death of orchids. It can be said that more than 80% of the causes of death of orchids come from plants growing orchids. There is a fact that friends cannot but admit that wild orchids in the mountains are not managed by anyone, and they still sprout and blossom year after year. After going down the mountain, orchid friends take care of it as a "treasure" every day, but it is easy to die?

Not long ago, I went to the countryside and inadvertently found that in a rural market town, since there were more than 10 pots of orchid on the balcony of a peasant household, although they were not precious orchids, they grew luxuriantly, their leaves were so green, and new sprouts appeared in each basin. I happened to meet my uncle watering the orchids. I chatted with him for a while.

Found that some of my uncle's orchid experience is worth learning, let's have a look.

My uncle's orchid has been raised for almost five years. I used to be an employee of the county supply and marketing cooperation. after the restructuring, I went back to my hometown in the countryside. when I got home, I brought home the 2 pots of orchids originally raised in the unit. The villagers laughed at him. There are many rotten grass and mountains, do you still regard it as a treasure?

Uncle got a reminder, so he went to the mountain to look for orchids. As the villagers said, it was everywhere on the mountain. The uncle suddenly dug up a lot of baskets, but after less than half a year of breeding, only the plant was half dead. The uncle realized that the cause of death of these orchids must have been caused by the inadaptability of the soil, because the mountain was only a few kilometers away from his home, and the environmental gap would not be too great.

Uncle kept groping, and finally prepared a good plant material for orchid cultivation, using this plant material to raise orchids live in a pot, sprouting fast, growing prosperous, blooming every year!

The plant materials are prepared as follows:

1. Collect pine bark, make the collected pine bark small and not too broken, boil it with water for 20 minutes, then pour it into a vat with water, put the vat outside, seal the barrel mouth with film, and tie it as tightly as possible. Just leave it outside to ferment for half a month.

2. Collect broken wind fossil dregs and collect small and broken weathered stone dregs as far as possible.

Mixing the fermented pine bark with weathered stone residue at 1:1 is what I called a good plant for raising orchids. This kind of plant material is loose and breathable, which almost reduces the growth soil of wild orchids. When putting on the basin, some pine nut bags are lost at the bottom of the basin to increase the drainage and air permeability.

The uncle said that making the plant material like this is only the first step in keeping the orchid alive. If you want to make the orchid explode, you have to bury some "material" in the pot every February! What kind of material?

The material I said was soybeans. Boil the soybeans, do not boil them, also put it in a container, cover the mouth of the container with a film, tie it tightly and put it outside for a month, dry it into a bottle and bury about 10 grains in the orchid pot every 2 months. just bury it as close to the edge of the flowerpot as possible.

All right, that's all for today's sharing, thank you for reading!
