In the process of growing flowers, sometimes we will find that the flowers that have been raised for a long time do not see them grow, or often have yellow leaves. As soon as we take a look at the soil, we can't even dig the hoe. Do not underestimate the problem of potted soil hardening. It is easy to cause potted flowers to die due to impervious roots, rotten roots and improper supply of nutrients.

In addition to planting flowers with special nutritious soil or formula soil, when planting flowers with ordinary pastoral soil, we only need to add some material in the basin, which is also loose and breathable, and share with you two relatively simple methods.

1. Charcoal

Choose completely burnt charcoal, very loose, and have a certain bactericidal effect, avoid rotting roots of plants and increase soil drainage.

Usage: small particles of charcoal can be directly mixed with soil to grow flowers and increase soil drainage capacity. if large particles of charcoal are used, they can be directly used to cover the bottom of the flowerpot.

2. Pine needles

Pine needles are really a very good medium for growing flowers. Pine needles can be seen in some parks or rural mountains. After cutting some dry pine needles and exposing them for a week, they can be used to spread them at the bottom of flowerpots or mix them in the soil.

In addition to the pine needle, the pine needle soil at the bottom of the pine needle is a very good rotten leaf soil, not only loose and breathable, but also full of fertility, but also can collect some back, irrigated with carbendazim solution and then exposed to the sun for a week, it can be directly used to grow flowers, which can make potted flowers grow better and stronger.

Note:

When collecting pine needle soil, the pine needle rotten leaf soil with complete humus soil two centimeters below the soil surface is the best point.

In addition to these two kinds, if the honeycomb coal is fully burned at home, it is also a very good flower planting material, which is especially suitable for planting succulent plants.
