Rose is very popular, no doubt, no less than peony rose, flower friends want to have more rose, many will choose the way of cutting to get more rose, today we will share rose cutting.

Rose can be cut in four seasons in theory, and the cutting method can be divided into hardwood cutting and soft wood cutting. Temperature has a great influence on the survival rate of cuttings. When the temperature is kept at 18-25 ℃, the survival rate is the highest.

Hardwood cutting is carried out in the dormant period, and the cutting time is before germination in winter or early spring. At this time, the branches are rich in nutrients, and the cuttings are easy to survive. However, due to the lower temperature in winter, the rooting time is longer.

Softwood cuttings are selected in the same year, and the best time is from April to May and from September to October, which is slightly different from place to place. At this time, the new branch is not completely Lignified, that is, it is neither old nor young, and the survival rate of cutting is high. Branches without Lignification or completely Lignification are not suitable for cutting.

The temperature of the cutting is too low, the rose is in a dormant state, the wound will not heal and take root, and it is easy to die after a long time. If the temperature is too high, bacteria are easy to grow, and it is easy to grow leaves and then roots when the temperature is high, which is not conducive to cutting survival.
