The low survival rate of plant cuttings is the worry of many flower friends, which is slow to take root and impatient to wait. Today, let's try to make some rooting water by ourselves to help our cutting plants take root faster.

1. Edible vinegar

Choose edible rice vinegar without salt, mix it with cold boiled water at the ratio of 1 ∶ 100. soak the lower part of the cuttings in solution for about 8 hours and then cut it after drying.

This solution can be used to soak camellias, longevity flowers, grapes and other plants.

2. White sugar

Sugar can be directly mixed with water to make rooting water. After the leaves at the bottom of the cut branches are removed, they are mixed with sugar and hot water at 1:10 (no hot water is needed). After the aqueous solution is cooled, the branches are soaked in the solution for half an hour. After that, normal cutting can be done.

This solution can be used to cut rose, geranium, longevity flowers, camellias, rhododendrons and other flowers.

3. Willow branches

Willow branches can be folded on a small river for home use, and it is also very simple to make rooting water. First, cut willow branches into sections, soak them in hot water for a day, then soak the cuttings for 12 hours, and then normal cuttings can be cut after drying.

This solution can be used for cutting green flowers such as orchid, green pineapple, rhododendron, rose and so on.

Flower friends who like to do things will certainly enjoy the fun in this production process, especially when they see their own rooting water successfully let the cutting plants take root, they have a special sense of achievement!

However, if flower lovers find it too troublesome to make their own rooting water, they can choose to buy a ready-made rooting solution to save time and effort.
