Yingjiao Bonsai Garden is located in the Bay Forest Park in Fengxian District, Shanghai. Bonsai Garden covers an area of more than 80 mu and is one of the largest bonsai gardens in China. There are more than a thousand bonsai products invested by Mr. Sheng Yingjiao in the park, and professional bonsai technicians are sent to be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of bonsai in the park. Mr. Sheng Yingjiao is the vice president of bonsai branch of China Flower Association and the vice president of China Bonsai artists Association.

Yingjiao bonsai garden has beautiful scenery, and the bonsai is perfectly integrated with the surrounding scenery, which makes people linger. The author has the honor to visit the Shadow Jiao Bonsai Garden. Let's take a look at it with me.

This five-needle pine originated in Japan and is now hundreds of years old. In the 1930s, it spread from Japan to the Shanghai Botanical Garden (formerly known as Longhua nursery). It was cultivated and modeled by senior Japanese horticulturists in China at that time. In the 1960s and 1970s, our first generation of bonsai art master, the founder of Shanghai-style bonsai, Yin Zimin, was carefully restored and maintained as a fine collection of bonsai in the botanical garden. On September 9, 1976, the great leader Chairman Mao passed away in Beijing. In order to mourn the chairman, the central government wants to mobilize the best bonsai in the country to lay out a wake for Chairman Mao's memorial hall exhibition. Provincial and municipal leaders lead experts to various botanical gardens to select bonsai and send them to Beijing. This five-needle pine represented Shanghai to participate in the memorial hall exhibition for Chairman Mao, which was highly praised and approved by Beijing. It was purchased in 1985 by Shadow Jiao Bonsai Garden (Shanghai Wangsheng Horticulture Co., Ltd.). After more than 20 years of careful conservation, it has grown into luxuriant branches and leaves for everyone to watch and remember the spirit of the great man. This five-needle pine bonsai is the treasure of the town garden of Shadow Jiao Bonsai Garden.
