The design and color gradually become Mediterranean jujube.

Mediterranean jujube, also known as onion, Mediterranean blue flower. Native to the semi-mountainous regions of Portugal, Spain and Italy along the Mediterranean coast.

Morphological features:

Perennial herb, the underground stem is a bulb. Bulb 6-8 cm in diam., bulb white, covered with brown scales. Leaves are linear, 20-60 cm long and 1-4 cm wide. Leaves grow from bulbs, and each bulb can grow about 5-15 leaves during a spring. The inflorescence is a raceme, the flower stem is 15-40 cm long, and each flower stem has 40-100 flowers. Flowers blue, 1-2 cm in diameter, with six perianth.

Also known as the Mediterranean blue bell flower, the earth golden ball, the wild hyacinth, the Portuguese cotton jujube, is a kind of plant of the hyacinth family, which is native to the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and northwest Africa in the western Mediterranean region. Some people translate the name of this species into Peruvian jujube according to the scientific name peruviana (Peru), but Peru is not the origin of this species. Peru here has nothing to do with the South American country of Peru, but refers to a ship called Peru (Peru). The specimen used by Linnai in 1753 to describe the character of this species was transported from Spain.
