How to prevent and cure organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, arsenic compound and zinc poisoning in chickens
How to prevent and cure organophosphorus, arsenide and zinc phosphide poisoning in chickens? How is the poisoning of these three substances caused? Is it because of the pesticide? Do you want to know about it?
The three poisons mentioned above are poisoning caused by herding grass chickens and scattered native chickens because they are often used as pesticides and rodent poisons. it is common in rural areas because chickens eat food with these pesticides when they look for food near farmland where pesticides have been used in spring.
After organophosphorus poisoning, the chicken will salivate, bleed stool, muscle weakness and tremor, later when the chicken crown turns purple, suffocating to death. After arsenide poisoning, the chicken movement disorder, head spasm to one side twisted, other symptoms similar to organophosphorus poisoning, and finally died of coma. The chicken died suddenly during zinc phosphide poisoning. But when dissecting the digestive tract, you can smell the contents of garlic. The unpoisoned chicken wobbles when it walks, with water in its mouth and a bad smell of garlic.
Prevention and treatment: proper preservation of drugs and grazing chickens in designated areas can put an end to the above poisoning. Atropine can be injected subcutaneously for organophosphorus poisoning. When found early, each chicken was fed 0.01~0.1ml with belladonna tincture. After confirming arsenic poisoning in chickens, sulfhydryl antidotes were injected, but the cost was high, and the drugs were not always available. Zinc phosphide poisoning should be cleaned with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution or 0.5% copper sulfate solution, or the crop can be cut open to remove the contents.
Now you know why chickens are exposed to these three poisons. So you know why when the chicken is infected with these three kinds of poison, it is much easier to prevent and cure.
