A flower friend shared her experience in raising African pansy, a landmark in the northwest. When she first raised flowers, she saw that the African pansy raised by others was very beautiful, so she bought a small leaf seedling to raise it, but it didn't blossom very much after two years, so she gave one to her friend.

Friends are lazy, go back and directly put the flowerpot in the big tray, fill the big tray with water, and then add it when there is no water. Unexpectedly, the African pansy of my friends is getting stronger and stronger, and the flowers are blooming constantly, and they haven't added any fat or changed pots yet.

The flower friend had watered the flowers dry and then watered them, worried that the water would cause the roots to rot. Later, according to her friend's method, she kept adding water to the tray, and when she saw that there was no water, she added water to the tray. As a result, she grew stronger and stronger and burst a lot of side buds and firecrackers. Her potted formula soil is peat soil and perlite.

This method reminds me of cutting rose against the wall 2.0 method, just like the same, cutting success rate is very high, easy to root, with vermiculite cutting, soil cutting and water cutting, but also put the basin in the tray.

What's the principle? I saw my child's "my first scientific experiment book", in which there was an experiment of "climbing up the water".

When applied to soil and water, peat pearl soil is loose and ventilated, and there are many small voids in the soil. when the flowerpot is put into the tray, the water in the tray will enter these gaps and move slowly up and down along the soil. this movement is called capillarity.

The northwest weather is dry, African pansy works very well in this way, and its application to other flowers depends on the characteristics of the flowers, as well as local climatic conditions. If you are interested, how about giving it a try?
