Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Raising rubber trees can use loose and fertile sandy soil, keep the soil moist, apply appropriate amount of fertilizer, but use less nitrogen fertilizer. Usually need to give it sufficient sunlight, as well as ventilation growth conditions. Propagation can be done by cutting and preventing common diseases.

I. Culture environment

1. Soil: rubber trees like loose and fertile sandy soil, which can be mixed with rotten leaf soil, garden soil and sandy soil.

2. Watering: the soil should be kept moist in spring and autumn, and there is a great demand for water in summer. Watering should be carried out every day, an appropriate amount of water should be increased, and water should be often sprayed on or around the leaves to improve the humidity in the air. keep the soil slightly dry in winter.

3. Fertilization: apply appropriate amount of fertilizer, but use less nitrogen fertilizer. If there is too much nitrogen fertilizer, it will lead to excessive growth of stems and leaves. During the growth period, rotten liquid fertilizer was applied at intervals of 20 days. In order to control the height of the formed plant, the mixed liquid fertilizer should be applied once every 2 months during the growth period.

4. Lighting: if you want the rubber tree to grow better, you need to give it plenty of sunlight, put it in a sunny place for indoor farming, and pay attention to proper ventilation.

II. Methods of reproduction

Cuttage propagation: generally in the spring and autumn season, if watering is unreasonable in summer, the cuttings are easy to rot. Leave the middle part of the branch, leave a leaf, and seal the upper and lower incision of the branch when cutting so as not to affect the survival rate. Insert it into the soil and keep the growth temperature of 20 ℃, and it will take root in more than a month.

Third, common diseases

1, gray spot disease: rainy season is the peak period of the disease, after the disease will appear gray spots, but also will not only expand, the leaves will also become dry and cracked and appear black particles, during the onset of the disease can be sprayed with carbendazim.

2. Anthrax: it will harm the leaves, resulting in brown or white spots on the leaves, and in serious cases, the whole leaf will become withered and black. It is necessary to clean up the diseased leaves in time, and usually strengthen ventilation and light transmission.
