Around 2010, a family outside London rebuilt the fence and about 30 privet trees were dug up. This multi-pole privet is one of them, but because it has more branches, it does not grow any taller, so it is discriminated against and is planted in a large flowerpot and has not been repaired for 18 months. Until that day, the bonsai master went and was forcibly sold to the bonsai master by the boss.

This is the one in the picture, which grows well and has luxuriant branches.

The bonsai teacher reluctantly took it home and planned to change its flowerpot. Take it out of the basin. Well, the root system is good and well developed.

Rinse it with water. I want to see it carefully.

In order to plant it into a shallow basin, so to remove most of the roots, after cutting, found that this is a very good multi-pole, with 5 or 6 relatively straight branches.

After the root was trimmed, it was finally placed in this round basin.

Because the hedges are all cut down with a chainsaw, the branches are all the same height. Bonsai requires a change in height and thickness. So the height of the branches was adjusted and trimmed incidentally.

Throughout the growing season of 2012, the privet was waited on by the fat water to make it grow stronger. But the top branches need to be trimmed regularly to prevent them from growing too rough.

In May, 13, the tree was replaced with a new pot. And several branches have been carved so that they have a certain taper, which shows the vicissitudes of life and style, but also increases the gap between the branches, so that the new buds at the top have more room to grow. You can see that the secondary branches at the top of the branches are already stout.

The dead wood on the back is clearer.

In the spring of 14 years, the bonsai master decided to do the last work on the tree. Its pile foundation has been hollowed out, so it looks more vicissitudes and interesting. This kind of carving should be natural as far as possible, not too stiff.

Take a closer look and make it very lifelike

I kept it like this for more than a year, and in order to make it more attractive, I gave it a new handicraft basin. Looks like it's up at least 10 points.

The next job is still to store branches, prune and pick leaves. It was maintained year after year until it was favored by others.

More than a year later, these carved places have been oxidized and have become very natural.

This picture is the latest photo, and it is already an ideal multi-shot book.

The whole tree is 44 cm high and the pile foundation is 27 cm wide.
