I. Culture environment

1. Soil: peppermint likes loose and permeable soil, but the requirement for soil is not high.

2.Illumination: mint needs plenty of sunlight to grow, even in summer, without shade. If the light is not enough, the leaves will stop growing and become very thin.

3, moisture: sufficient water can make peppermint grow better, especially in the early stage of growth, the demand for water is greater, usually watered thoroughly. If the temperature is low in winter, the amount of water should be reduced appropriately.

II. Methods of reproduction

1. Cuttage propagation: it is best to cut a mint stem into 10cm cuttings from May to June, water it in the seedbed, and then transplant it after rooting and sprouting.

2. Rhizome propagation: it is generally selected in late April or late August, and the healthier plant is selected as the mother plant, and then planted. After the stems and leaves are harvested in early winter, the rhizome is left in place as the seed plant.
