Reproduction can be done by means of ramet and cuttage, as well as prevention and control of common diseases and insect pests.

I. Culture environment

1. Soil: Tiger Pilan likes loose, fertile and well-drained soil.

2. Watering: a large amount of water is needed for the growth of new buds to keep the soil moist; after the leaves grow, the soil is moist and slightly dry, and the basin soil can be watered after the surface of the basin soil is dry; when the temperature is relatively low in winter, the basin soil should be kept slightly dry, watering is not necessary to avoid decay.

3. Fertilization: Tiger Pilan needs appropriate amount of fertilizer during the growing period, and thin pancake fertilizer and water can be applied once every 10-15 days.

4. Illumination: Tiger skin orchid can grow better when exposed to sufficient sunlight. It should be moved to astigmatism in high temperature season, and it should receive sufficient light at other times. Be careful not to put it in a place with strong sun for a long time. It is easy to burn the leaves.

II. Methods of reproduction

1. Ramet propagation: ramet propagation is carried out when changing pots in spring, and it can be planted separately according to 3-5 leaves as a clump.

2. Cutting propagation: take off the fresh and healthy leaves to dry, insert them into the substrate and put them in a dark place. The light is not too strong, pay attention to ventilation and ensure enough moisture, so that the basin soil is in a slightly wet state.

III. Common diseases and insect pests

1, rot: there will be disease spots when the disease occurs, and the leaves will become dry and sunken when the disease is serious. after discovery, the diseased leaves should be cleaned up in time, and it is best to change the basin soil again, or spray carbendazim once a week or so.

2. Scale insects: it is not easy to be found at the initial stage of the disease, but there will be white protuberances on the leaves in severe cases. It can be easily sprayed with omethoate, once every 7-10 days.
