Last Updated: 2024/10/07, Culture rich bamboo had better use fertile and humus-rich soil, apply compound fertilizer every 15 days in spring, summer and autumn, give it a growth environment of 20-30 ℃, basin soil should often maintain a semi-wet and semi-dry state, propagation can use cutting methods, but also to prevent common diseases and insect pests.

I. Culture environment

1. Soil: to raise rich bamboo, it is best to use fertile soil rich in humus.

2. Fertilization: Fugui bamboo does not tolerate high concentration of fertilizer and raw fertilizer. Applying compound fertilizer every 15 days in spring, summer and autumn can make it grow better, and it generally does not need to be fertilized in winter.

3. Temperature: the best temperature is 20-30 ℃, and the lowest is not less than 5 ℃. If the temperature is lower, it will be frostbitten, the stem will turn yellow, and it will lead to rotting roots.

4. Watering: the basin soil should always be semi-wet and semi-dry. It can be watered once a day when the temperature is high in summer, once a week in spring and autumn, and once every 20 days in winter. In peacetime, you should often spray water to the plant or around it, which can make the leaves cleaner and prevent the leaves from becoming withered and yellow due to lack of water.

II. Methods of reproduction

1. Soil culture: cut the tender stem of 20-25 cm in spring, then soak it with potassium permanganate for about 30 minutes, wait for it to dry, and then insert it into the basin soil. Water once a day for about a month, it can take root.

2. Hydroponic culture: cut off the branches with stem tips, cut off the surrounding leaves and insert them into the water, and control the temperature at 25 ℃. It will take root in 15 days.

III. Common diseases and insect pests

The main diseases and insect pests are leaf spot, anthrax, leaf mites, shell insects, etc., which can be caught manually after the occurrence of pests. When diseases occur, they can be sprayed alternately with chlorothalonil or methyl thiophanate at intervals of 5-7 days.
