During cultivation, rotten bean cake can be added as base fertilizer, and the temperature should be kept at 20 ℃. In addition, we should also pay attention to common diseases and insect pests, deal with them in time after they are found, and strengthen ventilation to ensure air quality.

I. Culture environment

1. Light: the bowl lotus likes the sun and needs at least 7 hours of light every day. Sufficient sunlight is very beneficial to its growth. If it is cultivated indoors, it will be moved to a sunlit place properly, otherwise it will affect its growth.

2. Moisture: water is also needed in different growth stages, too much water is needed at the initial stage of growth, otherwise there will be rotten roots, with other continuous growth to appropriately increase the amount of water, we should pay attention to the cleanliness of water quality, otherwise it is easy to cause infection and affect its growth.

3. Fertilization: rotten bean cake can be added as base fertilizer during cultivation, potassium fertilizer can be added when standing leaves are produced, which can promote the formation of flower buds, and the amount of fertilizer application should not be too large.

4. Temperature: the temperature should be kept at 20 ℃ so that it can grow and blossom normally. If it is lower than 15 ℃, it will be difficult to blossom.

II. Methods of reproduction

Open the round end of the lotus seed with a tool so that water can seep into the seed. Soak the seeds with broken shells in warm water for 2-7 days. After they germinate, they will be cultured in water. After a period of time, the second leaf will grow roots and then it can be planted.

III. Common diseases and insect pests

1, aphids: generally appear in the seedling period, in the initial stage can be artificially captured, serious when spraying chemicals.

2. Diseases: the common diseases are spot blight and rot. Remove the diseased leaves in time after they are found, so as to reduce the source of infection, and then spray leaves with carbendazim, which should be ventilated regularly to ensure air quality at ordinary times.
