Lian Yuesong, a chance after graduating from junior high school, found that there were a lot of bonsai resources in the area and discussed with his father to start planting bonsai seedlings. At the beginning of his understanding of bonsai, he was still able to plant trees, but later, while doing it, he checked materials and went to other places to study, and found that making bonsai was not an easy thing.

Lian Yuesong said that making bonsai in the first few years is relatively hard, and the modeling of bonsai takes a long time to take shape, at least five or six years. At first, bonsai was supported by the income from farming and growing fruit and shiitake mushrooms.

In 2004, Lian Yuesong sold his first bonsai.

Lian Yuesong said that managing bonsai is like taking care of children. It is a tree and it can't speak. It usually depends on observation and experience to see whether the tree lacks nutrients or whether it has diseases and insect pests.
