Her rose blossoms 100 at a time and climbs all over the wall in a month!
Five steps of cutting will take root in a month.
Roses are generally propagated by cuttings, which are most suitable for May or October:
1. Select a twig about 13cm for cuttage, and keep the top 3-4 leaflets.
2. Use scissors to smooth the upper end and tilt the lower end of the cut.
3. It is best to choose shallow basin cuttings, and the soil can be kept moist with humus mixed with sediment.
4. Disinfect the cuttings with 0.5% potassium permanganate solution before cutting, then rinse with clean water. The cutting depth is about 5cm.
5. After the cuttage is successful, it usually takes root in about 20 days, and it needs to be put on the pot at this time.
Remove the rose from the original basin and shake it slightly to stretch the root.
Then prepare a slightly larger basin, and then add pre-prepared loose humus to 2prime 3.
Put in the rose, continue to add soil to slightly full, water once after 3 hours.
If you do so, the flowers will bloom bigger and bigger.
Soil
Rose drought-resistant, the soil requirements are not high, generally soft and fertile sand soil plus some leaves and grass roots on it, the bottom layer of gravel to increase air permeability and drainage.
Watering
The rose likes a slightly wet environment and must avoid soaking its roots. Water can be watered once every 15 days in spring and autumn and once every 10 days in summer. Check the dry and wet condition of the soil at ordinary times, and there is no need to water in the slightly wet state.
Light
Rose likes to be warm, generally placed on the south balcony or south window, conditional can be placed outdoors, to ensure sufficient light, otherwise less flowering, weak flowers, but in high temperature summer, to properly shade, to avoid direct light.
Fertilizer application
Roses prefer fertilizer and can apply liquid nitrogen fertilizer once or twice a month during the growing period, such as rotten pericarp water, compound fertilizer, etc., to promote the growth of branches and leaves
During the flowering period in April and May, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied two or three times a month, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate or rotten banana water, fish intestine water and so on.
Pruning
Pruning is an essential part of the maintenance process, generally trimming before the long bud, leaving the trunk long, lateral branches retain 3-5 buds, the rest of the withered branches and weak branches are all cut off, the whole should be dense and moderate.
Pest control
If you do not pay attention to ventilation and light transmission and moisture exhaust during maintenance, the rose is easy to be infected with powdery mildew, black spot, white powder, dark spots and even withered yellow and fall off.
When you find that you are infected with diseases and insect pests, you should immediately cut off the diseased branches and spray triadimefon foliar spray with 800 times liquid, once a week, 3-4 times in a row.
One more step before blooming, the whole wall will explode.
Most of the roses bloom from May to September, mostly pink and white, and the roses climb on the fence or wall, adding a little elegance and romance to the summer courtyard for no reason.
So, the question is, how to pull the rose to climb the wall?
1. Choose a ventilated and transparent wall, cut off all the flowering branches and top branches, retain 2-3 bud points, and artificially pull the main branches to the horizontal direction of the wall
2. Pull a few wire or rattan net on the wall, fix the trunk of the rose, arrange the position of the rest of the branches according to the extension direction, and prune reasonably. Of course, you can also fix the rose branches directly on the fence.
