Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The flowering time of Dendrobium is relatively long, from January to June, a total of half a year. When blooming, you need to control the temperature to keep it in a warmer environment, but you can't let it be exposed to direct sunlight, which is more conducive to its flowering.

1. Time

Compared to most plants, its flowering period is extremely long. It blooms in January and falls in June, lasting about half a year.

2. Management

In flowering to give it a certain management, so that it can grow better, flowers also bloom better.

① Temperature

It was originally in the tropical circle, so it prefers warm environments, especially places where the temperature difference between day and night is relatively large. It doesn't like direct sunlight, so in winter we have to put it in a semi-shady place. The temperature should be around 135 degrees at night, and around 18 to 20 degrees during the day. If the temperature is particularly low, its flowering will be greatly affected, and the leaves may fall.

② Humidity

It likes a relatively humid environment, and its ability to withstand drought is relatively poor. It should be sprinkled around it frequently, so that its leaves will not turn yellow and the flowering of plants will not be affected.

③ Fertilization

Don't fertilize it when it blooms, otherwise it will affect its flowers. From May onwards, it can be fertilized again, and diluted fertilizer can be applied once every two weeks, which is good for its growth.

④ Ventilation

It has high requirements for ventilation, usually let indoor ventilation.
