The difference between daffodils and orchids

First, daffodils

2. Orchids

1. It has a large number of leaves and many colors of flowers. It generally has a false bulb, the shape is generally oval, the flower pavilion is generally lateral, will naturally fall, and its bud generally does not fall during the period of growing flowers.

2. Its flower shape is relatively large, the sepals and petals do not grow together, the core column is relatively long, a little bent forward, and there are winglike objects on both sides. Its base sometimes grows with the core, which is 3-6 inches long, and the folds on the labial disc generally extend from the base to the middle lobe.

III. Differences

1. The root of the former is thin and fleshy. The latter is also a fleshy root, but as thick as chopsticks.

2. The former grows from the center of the bulb, and its flower stem is hollow, the stem is fleshy, and the flower is solid. The flower stem of the latter grows from the side of the bulb.

3. The bulb of the former is relatively soft and tender, with obvious layering, which can be peeled off layer by layer, and finally peel out the flower core. The latter bulb is relatively hard, is dark green, has a very thick horny, and can not peel off the core.
