No matter the succulent plants that have just been purchased or just moved, there is a basin period (in fact, any kind of creature in nature has a period of adaptation to a new environment). Of course, after the succulent plants in the basin period, they can grow healthier roots (maintain plant growth) and more showy leaves, and of course they can begin to accept normal maintenance (mainly water and light).

In fact, there are two main ways to judge whether the succulent plant takes the pot or not, one is through the state of the plant itself, and the other is through the state of the plant leaves (normally the succulent plant will finish taking the pot within a month). First of all, let's take a look at the state of the plant itself. if the succulent plant has the phenomenon of poor spirit, dysplasia and loss of luster, then it may be that the plant root system is not well developed or even undeveloped. Solution: take out the succulent plant and replant it.

Then there is the second influencing factor (which is also the key point). If the outermost leaves of the succulent plant are not full and no new leaves are growing, it proves that the succulent plant has not yet taken the pot. And during this period of time, we must not let succulent plants receive strong light, because excessive light is not only easy to burn new meat, but also easy to cause new meat to grow (all we have to do at this time is to wait).

If the outermost leaves of the succulent plants are full, then we can lift the succulent plants lightly, and if the succulent plants show a strong sense of grip in the basin soil, it proves that the succulent plants have taken the pot (they can begin to receive proper light and normal care. If not, it proves that succulent plants have not developed new roots.

Just wait slowly (to ensure the slightly wet state of the basin soil, but be sure to put it in a ventilated place where there is no direct light).

The succulent plants that pass the potted period can grow more healthily, so we must wait patiently for the plants to get through this difficult period so that they can develop healthily in the later stage.
