The soapy water readily available can control litchi stink bugs! Recently, litchi stink bugs have just hatched from eggs to nymphs, but the litchi harvest season is approaching, so it is not suitable to use chemical pesticides and residential areas are not suitable for spraying pesticides. A master's degree student at National Taiwan University has proposed "diosgenin control". The use of soapy water solution that is easily available to the public to spray pests is so safe that even organic farmers can feel at ease to use it to make up for the shortcomings of current prevention and control methods.

News Dictionary: the spawning period of litchi stink bugs is from February to August, and the densest period is from March to April. After hatching, the eggs become wingless nymphs and grow into adults between mid-May and October. The adults will overwinter and lay eggs and continue to move in the first half of the following year. On the whole, the life cycle of adults is as long as two to three hundred days.

Note: litchi stink weevil is an incomplete metamorphosis insect, which is called "nymph" when it is young, but not larva.
