Yushu there are two general cutting methods, branch cutting and leaf cutting, the survival rate is very high, the operation is also very simple, let's take a look at the specific methods!

Leaf cuttings of Yushu

(1)。 Select strong leaves, put them in a cool place, and wait for the wound to heal.

(2)。 Place the leaves in the soil, facing up, flat on top of the medium.

(3)。 The leaves take root about 4 weeks after cuttage, and when the root grows to 2~3cm, it can be transplanted into the pot.

Branch cuttings of Yushu

(1)。 Cut healthy branches with strong growth and disease-free length of about 10cm and place them in a cool place for the wound to dry.

(2)。 Prepare the nutritious soil and water it thoroughly. When the branch is a little dry, insert it into the sand bed.

(3)。 Generally 3-4 weeks will take root, observe the root growth, the root system has 3cm length can be transplanted on the pot.

Reproduction and maintenance of Yushu:

(1)。 Soil: the soil needs sandy soil that is fertile, breathable and well drained. Mixed soil such as plain sand, peat and vermiculite can be used.

(2)。 Lighting: Yushu likes sufficient light, avoid exposure, avoid how strong the light is, and shade properly. After taking root, slowly increase the light.

(3)。 Watering: fresh cuttings, do not need too much moisture, easy to lead to rot. Make sure the soil is moist every day.
