Last Updated: 2024/11/09, For the cultivation of golden diamond, the temperature should be about 25 degrees, not less than 5 degrees in winter; not too dark in a semi-shaded environment; keep moist during the growth period, especially in summer, but not stagnant water; provide enough fertilizer during the peak growth period, mainly nitrogen fertilizer; acid sandy soil that needs good drainage and rich nutrients. In addition, regular pruning and basin change are required.

1. Culture environment

(1) temperature: like warmth, the best at about 25 degrees. Can not stand the cold, it will be frozen below 5 degrees, so it should not be left indoors in winter, but should be moved to a warm place such as indoor or greenhouse.

(2) Illumination: like semi-shady environment, not too dark, otherwise its leaf color will become lighter and the leaves will droop. At the same time, too strong light is not good as long-term light.

(3) watering: there is a great demand for water, especially in the growing period. At this stage, it is necessary to keep the basin soil moist, especially the high temperature in summer, which is indispensable for water shortage. In addition to watering, you can also spray some water properly. Be careful not to accumulate water, or the roots will rot.

(4) fertilization: there is a large demand in the growing season, mainly nitrogen fertilizer. However, one-time fertilization should not be too much, and the concentration should not be too high. Generally speaking, it is "applying thin fertilizer frequently". In autumn and winter, control the amount of fertilizer application in order to spend the winter.

(5) soil: the sandy soil rich in humus, good drainage and slightly acidic is the best. It can be prepared with peat and perlite.

2. Pruning

If it is not pruned for a long time, the leaves of the plant are prone to yellowing. Therefore, it is necessary to trim old leaves and branches regularly. Overdense branches can also be cut off to improve ornamental quality.

3. Change the basin

Because the golden diamond grows fast, it needs to change the basin regularly. Change every three or four years, in the spring. Pay attention to the control of fat and water when changing.
