Last Updated: 2024/11/14, When raising banyan trees, the environment should be warm, and the winter temperature should be more than 8 degrees Celsius; organic liquid fertilizer should be used once a month in the growing season, and alum and water should be used once a month in May and August; sufficient water should be provided, but no stagnant water; sufficient sunlight should be provided and shaded properly when the light intensity is strong. In addition, it is necessary to turn the pot, the young plants once every two years, and the old piles once every three or four years.

1. Culture environment

(1) temperature: the banyan tree likes to be warm, about 15 degrees. The most important thing to pay attention to is winter, which needs to be above octave.

(2) Fertilizer: there is a great demand for it, especially in the growing period. At a time of rapid growth, organic liquid fertilizer needs to be applied once a month. In addition, an additional use of alum fertilizer and water is needed in May and August. In addition, if you feel that its growth is not very good, you can top fertilize once a day, use animal manure and so on. In addition, foliar fertilizer spraying, nutrient solution and so on can be carried out. However, summer is so hot that there is almost no demand in winter, so it is not suitable for fertilization.

(3) watering: regular watering during the growing period to ensure humidity. Especially in summer, you need to do it twice a day during the hottest days. However, it is not the more the better, do not accumulate water. In addition to watering, you can also sprinkle water on the ground or in the air to increase humidity.

(4) Illumination: adequate sunlight is required, especially in winter. In summer, when you encounter too strong light, you also need shade.

2. Turn the basin

Regular turnaround is of great significance to its growth. However, the interval between plants varies with different ages, with young plants about once every two years and old stumps once every three to four years. The best time is from late April to early May. In addition to replacing half of the old soil with fertile new soil, it is also necessary to cut off the dry, too dense, and too short roots and trim its shape.
