Such a beautiful orchid, how to raise it well and blossom beautifully? Today, I would like to share with you three tips for raising orchids. If you master them well, the orchids will blossom without interruption.
The first trick: strict use of soil
Orchid cultivation soil should be strict, avoid sticky, avoid alkali, avoid sand accumulation, mud accumulation; suitable for cultivation in highly permeable, fertile and loose slightly acidic soil. Generally raise orchids, choose light media such as coconut bran, peat and burning soil, and some flower friends raise orchids with soilless substrates such as vermiculite and ceramsite. Or the orchid special soil on the market is also an ideal choice.
The second trick: rational watering
Watering should vary according to weather, season, variety and other factors. Spring orchid is resistant to humidity, Chardonnay is sun-resistant, cold orchid is dry, ink orchid likes shade, spring is afraid of dripping, summer is afraid of sun exposure, autumn is afraid of drought, and winter is afraid of wind and frost. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust measures to local conditions and carefully master watering.
As the saying goes, "only drenched orchids, not dry orchids." In watering, according to the orchid "like wet afraid of stains, like dry afraid of dryness" characteristics, skillful use of water, so as to "moisturize mainly, dry-wet combination". In the growing season, orchids prefer moist soil and higher air humidity, while in the semi-dormant season, orchids prefer dry soil. Therefore, the exuberant growth should be watered in time, grasp the principle of seeing dry and wet, and then water the basin soil after drying.
The third trick: scientific fertilization
Orchids have different requirements for fertilizer in different growing seasons. Avoid blooming before and after blooming in spring and autumn, apply rotten organic nutrient solution and special liquid fertilizer for orchids, diluted 500-800 times, every half a month or three weeks. Fertilize in the evening and water the next morning. Do not splash the fat on the leaves and pour it into the leaves to prevent decay. Stop fertilizing when it is high in summer and low in winter.
