Many flower friends report that jasmine is difficult to raise: some jasmine only grow branches and leaves but do not blossom; some jasmine are often in a state of thin leaves and yellow branches; some jasmine branches are inexplicably scorched and die. In fact, jasmine has strong adaptability and is not difficult to raise. All these problems are caused by the lack of matching of the soil.

Culture soil is the basis for the growth and flowering of jasmine. Because potted jasmine is planted in potted soil, and the nutrition of potted soil is limited, it requires that the soil of potted jasmine is rich in organic matter; according to the requirements of jasmine habits, the soil also needs to have good water retention and drainage to avoid looseness and permeability. Flower friends can prepare this kind of soil by themselves:

The first kind of soil

Put soil and plant raw materials (such as fallen leaves, vegetable peel, pericarp, grass, bran shell, etc.), animal raw materials (such as chicken and duck dung, barnyard manure, animal offal, feathers, fish scales, fish belly intestines, bone meal, water for washing meat and fish, etc.), layered (that is, a layer of soil and a layer of animal and plant raw materials) in the tank, and compacted, after more than half a year of fermentation rot, can be used. If you feel the soil is sticky and heavy, mix in the right amount of fine sand. The proportion of cultivated soil composition is generally 4 parts of soil, 4 parts of compost and 2 parts of fine sand.

In addition, in order to meet the growth characteristics of jasmine, there should be enough fertilizer in the soil, and liquid fertilizer should be used to top it at ordinary times. Generally use 500 times diluted organic nutrient solution, irrigate every 7 days, directly dilute the irrigated soil, jasmine can nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium comprehensive, rapid growth.

The second kind of soil

Go to the topsoil or vegetable garden soil, mud and ditch mud of the paddy field in winter, after hole thinning transformation (that is, let it freeze and shine in the sun for a period of time), and then mix with rice chaff ash. Among them, 7 were from soil and 3 from ash. If there are no conditions for flower friends, you can use the prepared flower nutrition soil.

The third kind of soil

It is made by fully mixing 7 parts of scorched soil ash (that is, turf mud after accumulation and burning) with 3 parts of clear water sand.

Appeal three kinds of culture soil, the first kind of humus soil has the best texture. If you want to use the latter two kinds of culture soil to cultivate jasmine, you need to irrigate jasmine 500 times diluted organic nutrient solution every 7-10 days to supplement the organic matter in the soil as topdressing.

In addition, when the soil is ready, raising jasmine also needs to pay attention to the selection of pots. The size of the flowerpot is selected according to the size of the jasmine plant, do not use a large pot at the beginning, and with the growth of the plant, replace the larger flowerpot in turn. Generally speaking, the diameter of the flowerpot is slightly smaller than that of the crown.
