The greater the moisture, the higher the temperature, the stronger the light, the larger the air contact surface, the more serious the discoloration, the lighter the dark color, the darker the light color, and the lower the quality. Therefore, it is also a problem to preserve it well.

Both mung bean and adzuki bean have navel. There is a seed hole at one end of the hilum, and the seed hole is the channel through which external water enters the seed, so it has strong hygroscopicity and is prone to fever, mildew and insect damage. In the process of storage, mainly prevent mung bean, adzuki bean discoloration, deterioration and insect pests. When mung beans and adzuki beans are stacked in bulk, the surface layer changes color first under the influence of the outside world, and the above phenomenon can be reduced by less than 60 centimeters from the ground. If stacked in bulk, you can put it below 60 centimeters from the ground, separated in the middle, and put other grain on it. It is best to take a closed approach, mung beans, adzuki beans in the container, covered with a layer of dry sand or clean wheat bran, and then cover strictly, reduce contact with air, sunshine, warmth and other adverse factors, in order to prevent discoloration. Mung bean and adzuki bean are easy to be harmed by mung bean elephant, pea elephant and other pests during the growing period, and the hilum is easy to be infected with eggs, and the conditions are suitable to begin to grow up after entering the warehouse.

Before entering the warehouse, the beans can be soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes, removed and dried into the warehouse, which can kill insect eggs, prevent the occurrence of insect pests, and do not affect germination. Before entering the warehouse, a small amount of aluminum phosphide tablets can be wrapped in paper and placed at the bottom of the container, filled with human mung beans and adzuki beans, sealed and covered, so that phosphine gas is released slowly, which can effectively inhibit the occurrence of pests. Mung beans and adzuki beans should be threshed in time after harvest, cold drying into the warehouse after high temperature exposure (water content less than 13%), keeping low temperature (less than 20 ℃) airtight and anoxic storage to prevent discoloration.
