Last Updated: 2024/09/20, There are many reasons for the yellowing of white palm leaves: if it is caused by a change in the culture environment, it is necessary to reduce the change in the culture environment, and if it is caused by excessive watering, it is necessary to reduce the amount of watering, and appropriate watering can be done. If it is caused by alkaline soil, it can be replaced with acidic soil or fermented rice washing water or Rain Water.

1. Reduce environmental change:

Reason: once the environment of white palm culture changes, it will cause its leaves to turn yellow, so it is best not to change its light temperature and humidity conditions too much.

Solution: avoid substantial changes in the culture environment, and so it can adapt to the current culture environment.

2. Reduce watering:

Reason: White palm can be hydroponically cultivated, but this does not mean that it can be continuously watered, and less water and more times is not allowed, because it is easy to cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: if there is such a situation, the number of watering must be reduced as much as possible, it is best to wait for the moisture contained in the matrix to become dry before watering.

3. Change the soil:

Reason: White palm likes acidic soil, if the soil at home is alkaline, its leaves will turn yellow or even peel off after a long time.

Solution: you can directly replace it with acidic soil, or pour some fermented Rain Water or rice washing water on the soil.

4. Increase the illumination:

Reason: White palm needs better light to grow normally. Once it lacks light, its leaves will turn yellow.

Solution: change it from a cool place to a sunny place, but don't be directly exposed to the sun, otherwise it will produce yellow leaves from strong light burns, and may even die.
