The weather is changeable, suddenly there is a heavy rain, then the face turns over as fast as turning a book, and then the sun suddenly appears in the sun. Then it is hot at the beginning of summer. It is always 35 or 6 degrees. How to water it? everyone must be bored. Watering in this season is really unpredictable, too much, for fear of growing too much, for fear of muggy heat and rotting roots. If you water less, you are afraid that if you don't drink enough water, it will dry up and die and cause a lot of dry leaves.

To tell you the truth, if you haven't reduced the amount of watering in this season, you should really be very careful. In this season, watering should be controlled at half of the amount of water in the growing season. Even less. In June and July, the dormant or semi-dormant succulent plants will have less moisture, and the time and frequency of watering will be longer.

However, if the succulent plants growing in summer, they can pick a small amount of it many times. Imagine how uncomfortable it would be if you stood in a place without water and the air was muggy in this weather, after soaking yourself in water for ten minutes with clothes on.

Next, I would like to provide my own watering small steps for your reference, although my family also has the phenomenon of overgrowth, but the number is small, or only slightly overgrown, some almost no futile growth. (I don't want to show off or show how good I am. I just want to share some good steps with you. I hope everyone can plant them easily.)

Assuming that the following picture is a three-inch basin, then first divide it into three areas. As long as you water the blue area, do not exceed the orange area at most. This method of watering is to let the surrounding medium absorb water first, and then slowly transmit it to the root. So that it won't accumulate too much water in the root at once.

Remember that the amount of water should be at least half less than before, assuming that 50CC was poured before, but now it can only be 25CC or less!

CC number is just a metaphor. Few people care so much about how much water is watered. The intention is to let everyone know that the amount of water should be reduced.

If you are watering with the bubble basin method, you can refer to the following picture, the water height should not exceed 1/3 of the basin body as far as possible, it is better to be less than half of the 1/3 is the ideal bubble basin, and the time to soak the basin is half less than before.

Watering this season can not be as generous as the growing season, or soak a large amount of water from the bottom, otherwise it is very easy to rot roots or attract mold or other bacteria to come to the door!

Finally, I would like to remind you that it is recommended to put the pots high and not to come into direct contact with the building, because the building absorbs heat during the day and dissipates heat at night, so it is easy to burn the end of the root, and then the root begins to rot.

The above is for your reference, but don't forget Luo ~ there is really hot and hot heat next, so remember to help succulent people, gradually stretch out the frequency of watering, and reduce the amount of water!

Things that you and I often ignore.

Q: aren't the living conditions of succulent plants in the primitive environment very strict? So why do you have to take more care when it comes to the hands of the growers?

A: because in the wild of primitive life, its roots can be extended infinitely, and the succulent system of primitive life belongs to such a harsh environment from an early age, and because it has been in a harsh environment for a long time, they can adapt very well. However, when it comes to the hands of the growers, they have already bred the N generation, so it is impossible to plant them in the field as soon as they get started.

Q: aren't succulent plants known as lazy plants? So can we not water it?

A: of course it's impossible, because in the original environment, its roots extend infinitely to find water, but when we plant, most of them are planted in pots, so the development of roots is limited. When there is no water in the basin, it means that there is no water for succulent plants to absorb, so watering is necessary, only the difference in the frequency and amount of water.

Q: why is it that succulent plants in the wild are not prone to sunburn? And the succulent plants we plant are prone to sunburn?

A: because the succulent plants in the field don't have the burden of pots, they dissipate heat more quickly. Growers usually have a large number of hands, and ventilation is more important at this time, but they often neglect one thing: the closer the pots are placed, the worse the ventilation will be, but they will mistakenly think that as long as the wind blows the Buddha, it means good ventilation. When the heat of the plant is not fast enough, it is easy to cause sunburn.

Q: when succulent sunburn, just move to no sunburn?

A: no, when succulent sunburn means that the temperature in that area is higher, don't forget that the buildings in residential buildings absorb heat during the day and dissipate heat at night, so they need to be moved to a more ventilated place, and the temperature must be lower than before.

Q: some nurseries claim to be cultivated in the open air, which can be compared with the way they are planted in the wild, but is it feasible?

A: no, when we enter the nursery, we find that the nursery creates a feeling of open-air planting, and we often mistakenly think that the bought succulent plants can also be planted in this way, but in fact, when the nursery takes the succulent plants to the rain or the sun, it is usually because some succulent plants already need watering, or some succulent plants grow slightly in shaded places before they are brought to the rain or sun places we see by the people in the nursery. But afterwards, when the person in the nursery moved his position, it was absolutely impossible to call you to tell you that it was time to change his place, so the succulent plant he bought home was killed in the battle because of this.
