How to plant echinacea seeds

1. Time selection

3. Seed selection and treatment

Select plump, undamaged seeds and stir them in warm water at about 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. After about two to three hours, put it in the disinfectant solution for about a quarter of an hour. Take the seeds out and dry them for about an hour or two before sowing.

4. Formal sowing

We usually choose to mix the soil with the seeds of echinacea. First, we put part of the soil into a container. Then we mix the seeds evenly with another part of the soil. Then we put them into the same container and water them thoroughly. After that, he waited patiently for it to sprout. Seven to ten days after the big moon, he could see it sprout. In half a month or so, the seedlings would be ready.

5. Late management

First of all, water, seedlings need less water in the early stage, so keep the soil slightly wet, do not irrigate too much water. When it grows to two or three true leaves, you can start watering it more. However, if it rains, pay attention to drainage.

If there are any weeds growing around, we should get rid of them in time. However, in order not to damage the roots of young plants, we'd better remove them by hand rather than with tools.
